Credit Life & Credit Disability Insurance

Old Ocean Federal Credit Union believes in protecting its members. The Credit Life insurance policy removes the burden of loan payments from your loved ones in the event of your death.

Credit Disability Insurance works much the same way. If you become ill or disabled and are unable to work for a period of time, Credit Disability Insurance will make your monthly payments for you. Old Ocean Federal Credit Union is able to provide this valuable service for a nominal fee.

Guaranteed Auto Protection Insurance

Did you know that most traditional auto insurance policy settlements are based on the actual cash value of the vehicle-not the loan amount? That’s because vehicles, which are depreciating assets, depreciate much quicker than they are paid off! If your car is totaled or stolen, your policy may only cover the actual cash or blue book value of the vehicle, rather than what you owe on it. Our members have an opportunity to protect themselves financially from such disasters. Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAP) Relief/Insurance is affordable and provides the following coverage:
  • Pays the remaining loan or lease obligation
  • Protects your credit rating
  • Pays up to $1,000 of your primary insurance deductible

Protect your auto investment with Mechanical Breakdown Protection. This extended warranty plan offers many benefits.

A nice feature is you only pay for the portion of the policy you use. You may cancel at any time and you will receive a pro-rated refund of the unused portion even if you have filed claims on the policy. You only pay your deductible at claim time the repair facility is paid direct.
